About the Workplace

Hummelstaskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school with approximately 270 students located just outside Enköping. Short commuting distance from both Enköping and Västerås to the school. The workplace consists of approximately 30 employees.

Job Description

Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Do you want to contribute to creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for students both during the school day and at leisure? Then this might be the assignment for you!

We are looking for you who want to work as a substitute teacher in school and leisure. You have an interest and commitment to working with children. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to new situations. It is important that you are self-assured and have a positive attitude. Experience from work in school or leisure is preferred (but not required).

During the school day, you work as a teacher in preschool class and grades 1-6 during the absence of regular staff, as well as when reinforcement in the classroom is needed. After the end of the school day, the work continues at the leisure center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You have a good understanding of how humans absorb knowledge and people's different prerequisites. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient.

You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You create contacts and maintain relationships.

You adapt easily to changed circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly change your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires.

We would appreciate it if you have competence and interest in teaching sports, crafts, music, and art.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months, Start Date: 2026-08-10 According to agreement.
